We at Sports Connections Foundation were very lucky this year to have our first London Marathon runner this year.
James Halls was kind enough to offer to run the race for SCF, what he didn't expect was to be running in the hottest marathon on record!
Post race James said on his personal Facebook: "Well my knees are still recovering but the rest of me is OK!! It was the most amazing (and hardest!) experience and something I will cherish forever. The support from everyone has been fantastic so thank you all so much and also to those who donated to such a worthy cause...there is time to donate still!! Just go onto my just giving page #scf" "Highlight of the day was coming around the corner at Tower Bridge to see my amazing family waiting to cheer me on...was hard to keep the emotions at bay!! The level of encouragement and kindness from all the spectators was amazing, so was the entertainment!!"
