As those of you who are football (soccer) fans will be aware, January brings about it's transfer window.
For those of you who aren't aware the transfer window is a month in the middle of the season that gives all football clubs the opportunity to purchase new players to help them in the remainder of their games.
Like many clubs across the country Sports Connections Foundation have also managed to land themselves a transfer this month and it gives me great pleasure to announce our new 'signing' Tobi Sho-Silva, who has become part of team SCF as a ProKick Ambassador and will be hosting some of our ProKick Schools Challenges for us!
Tobi is a professional footballer who is currently playing for Dover Athletic having just completed a month long loan spell at Chelmsford City. A winger and a forward, Tobi started his career at Charlton Athletic and has also played for Welling United, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Bromley.
Tobi will be hosting some ProKick Schools Challenges for us whilst still managing to focus on his training and matches that he has coming up and we are very grateful to him for wanting to help Sports Connections Foundation help reach more schools and pupils in areas that we haven't been able to get access as frequently as we would have liked to over the past couple of years.

I'm sure you'll all join me of wishing Tobi a big welcome to Sports Connections Foundation and good luck to Dover Athletic for the remainder of the season!
