Sports Connections Foundation are so privileged to have such an amazing charity partner and support from the staff at BGL in Peterborough. Since the pandemic we have lost our main revenue stream and as a small charity this has had a dramatic impact on the support that we can offer to children and young people.
Sports Connections Foundation have been providing support to children and young people facing the challenge of poor mental health, social isolation and economic deprivation and sadly 2020 has highlighted the extent of children and young people needing extra support from programmes such as Inspire Through Inclusion.
Not only have BGL supported Sports Connections Foundation by providing funding but they are also providing support in many other ways via their staff volunteering scheme. We have been able to improve our Social Media strategy and capability this year as a direct result of BGL's support and we are very grateful for their continued support.
