SCF Superheroes 5km Challenge

Superheroes 5km Challenge

Sports Connections Foundation is excited to announce the launch of our first Superheroes 5km Challenge.

For Schools - our challenge provides the perfect opportunity to raise vital funds for your school and for Sports Connections Foundation.

For corporates, individuals and clubs this is a great opportunity to have lots of fun and raise money for disadvantaged children and young people.

In conjunction with National Superhero Day on 28 April, we're encouraging everyone to put on their superhero costumes, celebrate your own superheroes and take part in the Superhero 5km Challenge.

Sports Connections Foundation uses sport to help and inspire children and young people who are disadvantaged, vulnerable, or living with life-limiting illnesses.

By taking part in this event, you will be helping us continue to deliver our mentoring, holiday camps and sporting wishes.

Pro-Kick Schools Challenge

As many schools will be aware Sports Connections Foundation has been delivering their Pro-Kick Schools Challenge for over a decade and will continue to do so once restrictions are eased, raising over £1 million which schools and the young people who use our services have benefited from. We are delighted to launch another challenge for schools and the money raised, will be split 50/50 between your school and Sports Connections.

Sporting Wishes

Making dreams come true for children facing life-limiting illnesses.

"It was the most awesome day ever and it was by far the best day of my life and I got to meet new friends." - Rossi, aged 9, whose Sporting Wish was a visit to the Wasps ground, where he met England rugby stars.

Inspire Through Sport

Developing positive futures for disadvantaged children.

“I have struggled with mental health and having people to talk to and being able to play sport too means everything.” Joel, supported by SCF.

Inspire Through Sport International

Using sport and education to guide children away from a life of poverty

UN reports have previously indicated that Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries in the World. SCF are fully committed to supporting some of the most vulnerable children on the planet.
