We at Sports Connections Foundation have the exciting opportunity to provide flexible hours and days to those of you that want to offer your skills and time to volunteer for us! There are a few particular areas that we would greatly appreciate support for. These are as follows;
Enhancing our Media and Marketing
Media and marketing are key areas to any company or charity and SCF is no different. You can get involved in our media and marketing by helping with some of the following aspects:
Providing regular social media content across all of our platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Producing informative content for our blog entries.
Basic updating of our website to keep it up to date with the latest images and information
Supporting our existing and creating new campaigns to support SCF's objectives of helping and inspiring children through the world of sport.
Designing of flyers for our upcoming events, which you will of course be able to attend!
Contacting local, regional and national media outlets with relevant content for press releases and to also make them aware of any upcoming events that the charity is holding.

Support with our ProKick Admin
As many of you will be aware we host our ProKick Schools Challenge events throughout the school year and we are looking for people willing to help with the admin side of these events. Some of the duties you will be undertaking include:
Collating schools information, this involves updating our database with the latest information on any schools we contact whilst also contacting schools to see if they would like to take part in an event.
Preparing the content sent to schools ahead of and after our visits. This involves getting the sponsor forms and certificates every child receives together and posting them out before their assemblies. After the events you will be gathering all the prizes together and posting these out as well.
Liaising with our team of amazing ProKick Ambassadors, you'll be doing this by making sure they are aware of their schedules and making sure that they have all of their equipment to host an event.
With over 500,000 children having already taken part in ProKick's over the years, you will be joining our team as we aim to reach a further 500,000 whilst also helping the process from start to finish run smoothly and efficiently.
Bid Writing
As a Children's Charity we rely on donations being provided in order for us to continue positively impacting children’s futures both in the UK and abroad. If you have any prior experience in bid writing and would be able to help us continue to grow we would be eternally grateful to hear from you.
We are looking for people who are willing to volunteer their services in helping us raise funds for the various programmes and initiatives that we run throughout the year, which include;
We are very proud of what we have been able to achieve over the years but we are always looking to do more, by helping us with bid writing we will be able to increase our outreach whilst ensuring our programmes continue to run smoothly for years to come.
Volunteering with SCF is not only a rewarding experience but exceptionally enjoyable as well!
By offering your time and skills you will not only be joining a fantastic team of people but you can go to sleep at night safe in the knowledge that YOU have personally had an impact on the lives of so many children across the UK.
As a member of Team SCF you will also be able to see first hand the work that we do, whether that is joining us on any trips to visit children in hospital, to meeting families we have worked with at our events, it really is an opportunity not to be missed!
